Sheppard Family Park Formerly a farm, the Sheppard Family Park offers 13 acres of treed wilderness where visitors can go to enjoy an afternoon outdoors and have a picnic. A number of historic buildings can be viewed at the park including a restored log cabin built in 1882 and the Billy MacDougall House which was constructed in 1899 and was the first home built in town.
